Custom Gears & Splines Made to Drawing

Spur and helical gears, special tooth profiles, sprockets, splined shafts – as one-offs or small series, internal and external. Cut on our own gear-cutting machines, up to 500 mm diameter and module 8.

Production programme

On our turning and gear-cutting machines we produce:

We keep an extensive stock of standard tooling plus a large number of special tools from the automotive industry. If a profile is missing, we have the matching tool made as a special – your job does not fail at the tool cabinet.

From old part to drawing to new part

The most common case: only the worn or broken original still exists. We measure the sample, determine module, pressure angle and corrections, create the CAD drawing in DWG/DXF format and machine the new part – one point of contact from the first measurement to the ready-to-install component.

Contract machining for workshops

Restorers, workshops and machine builders use us as their extended workbench:

Quality you can measure

Gear quality is not a promise, it is a measured value. Ground gear teeth are produced with tolerances down to the region of 0.0025 mm – with a measurement report for the part on request.

Common questions

01 Do you make one-offs?

Yes – the one-off is our daily business. A gear that has been out of production for forty years, a special tooth profile for a prototype or a single replacement wheel for a construction machine are typical jobs.

02 Up to what size can you cut gears?

Internal and external teeth up to 500 mm diameter and module 8, gear widths up to 150 mm, shafts with straight or helical teeth up to 800 mm length, sprockets up to 500 mm diameter. Internal keyways are broached or slotted up to 32 mm width.

03 I only have the worn old part, no drawing.

That is enough. We measure the sample, determine the gear data and create the CAD drawing in DWG/DXF format – which you keep afterwards.

04 Do you take on contract gear cutting for other workshops?

Yes. Turning and gear-cutting work, keyway slotting and broaching are available as contract machining – from your drawing, on schedule, with a measurement report on request.

05 What do you offer beyond gear cutting?

CAD drawing creation, turning, milling, drilling, sawing, TIG welding of steel, stainless and aluminium, laser-cut parts, and surface finishing such as blasting, plating, powder coating or painting.
